Certification Path

The structured progression toward PTU professional certification

PTU certification is granted through a defined multi-stage progression designed to ensure competence, safety, and ethical integrity.

Each stage must be successfully completed before advancement.

Certification is performance-based and not granted through attendance alone.

Specialized schools operating under PTU — including the School of Firewalking — follow this same certification framework.

Stage I — Foundational Formation
Core training establishes the theoretical and structural foundations required for professional facilitation.

This stage includes:

• Transformational frameworks
• Group dynamics and leadership principles
• Psychological awareness
• Ethical facilitation standards

Participants must demonstrate applied understanding before progressing.

Stage II — Supervised Practice
Professional competence requires observed practice.

Candidates must complete supervised facilitation including:

• Live group leadership
• Structured session delivery
• Integration of professional feedback
• Performance review

Observation and evaluation are mandatory components of this stage.

Stage III — Competency Assessment
Formal certification assessment includes:

• Direct observation of facilitation
• Scenario-based evaluation
• Review of professional conduct and ethical alignment

Certification is granted only upon successful demonstration of competence.

Stage IV — Ongoing Accountability
Certification under PTU requires continued adherence to:

• The PTU Standard
• The Code of Ethics
• Defined scope of professional practice

PTU reserves the right to review, suspend, or revoke certification in cases of non-compliance.

PTU certification represents demonstrated professional competence.

Recognition is earned through structured progression, evaluated performance, and accountable practice.
